For over eight years, Chris has supported students across the globe in fulfilling their college aspirations. Chris started out as a college admissions consultant, where he helped community college students reduce their loan obligations by constructing comprehensive transfer strategies, maximizing the use of CLEP and AP credits, and scoring scholarships.
During his graduate studies at Harvard, Chris held numerous roles in education, including working as a research assistant and advising students on the college admissions process. Chris holds extensive experience in essay development and preparation for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests. His guidance has enabled students to gain admission into diverse programs at institutions including UC Berkeley, Princeton, the University of Chicago, and Duke.
Chris holds an MLA in History from Harvard University. He also received a College Advising Program Certificate from Columbia University and is working towards an Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine. Nowadays, Chris can be found assisting students as a Head Counselor for WeAdmit and constantly striving to become a better chef!

Cole comes to WeAdmit with nearly a decade of higher education expertise. During his tenure, Cole has worked in college admissions, college advising, and residence life. Cole’s zeal for the college process began early in his undergraduate career as a tour guide and followed him through professional pursuits. Along the way, Cole learned that colleges are much more than just a place of learning, but communities. He is committed to making sure that any student finds their perfect community. Most recently, Cole served as an Admissions Officer with Duke University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. During this process, he advocated for his students, evaluated merit scholarship fit, and supported students from underrepresented backgrounds in higher education. He is a 2009 graduate of Harvard College and a former interviewer for the Harvard College Office of Admissions. John scored a perfect score (1600 out of 1600) on his SAT examination and worked for over ten years as a college counselor and SAT instructor in the US and Asia. During her time in high school, Maria took a diverse load of AP and dual enrollment courses both in the humanities and the sciences; some of her favorite courses were AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP US Government, AP English Language/Literature, and forensic science.
Her experience volunteering at her local hospital and interning at a primary care HIV/AIDS clinic motivated her to pursue a career in the health field. She is an active member of her school’s GlobeMed chapter, which is a global health-related club, and has enjoyed serving as an Orientation Leader during Barnard’s New Student Orientation Program. These days she lives in New Jersey with her family and works as a Financial Counselor for WeAdmit.
