For over eight years, Chris has supported students across the globe in fulfilling their college aspirations. Chris started out as a college admissions consultant, where he helped community college students reduce their loan obligations by constructing comprehensive transfer strategies, maximizing the use of CLEP and AP credits, and scoring scholarships.
During his graduate studies at Harvard, Chris held numerous roles in education, including working as a research assistant and advising students on the college admissions process. Chris holds extensive experience in essay development and preparation for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests. His guidance has enabled students to gain admission into diverse programs at institutions including UC Berkeley, Princeton, the University of Chicago, and Duke.
Chris holds an MLA in History from Harvard University. He also received a College Advising Program Certificate from Columbia University and is working towards an Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine. Nowadays, Chris can be found assisting students as a Head Counselor for WeAdmit and constantly striving to become a better chef!

Laura has over ten years of experience helping students apply to selective colleges and years of volunteering as an alumni interviewer for Dartmouth College. She experienced the benefits of an exceptional education as an undergraduate and graduate student, and it profoundly changed her life. She followed her love of learning as she dove deep into fascinating subjects, found inspiring mentors, and developed lifelong friendships. In her free time, Laura enjoys doing triathlons and volunteering at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.

Originally she found herself working as a school counselor, but quickly realized there was a problem: the “college part” of school counseling was often overlooked.
Erin later left her job as a school counselor to dedicate herself to guiding students and their families through the college application process, helping her students gain admission to UCLA, New York University, the University of Michigan, and dozens of other top universities. She has been a college counselor at Collegewise and a school counselor at the Aveson Global Leadership Academy, and these days she is a Head Counselor with WeAdmit. When she isn’t knee deep in the college application process, you can find her traveling, practicing yoga, or taking her bike out for a spin.

During high school, Mike founded and was captain of a FIRST FRC Robotics team and completed two research projects in simulation and applied mathematics. His favorite classes were AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Computer Science.
In addition to his interests in the STEM fields, Mike is also passionate about music, playing in various school bands throughout middle and high school.

As a musician and singer on campus, he has spent a great deal of time interacting with Stanford's unique music and arts culture. Before coming to Stanford, he was a multi-sport athlete and cultivated his interest in politics while working on political campaigns. Kevin was uncertain about the path he might take once he got to Stanford and continued to feel this way for quite some time. His unique journey allowed him to explore fields as varied as art theory, computer science, and economics.

Maria is a junior at Barnard College of Columbia University studying neuroscience and behavior with a minor in Russian.

During her time in high school, Maria took a diverse load of AP and dual enrollment courses both in the humanities and the sciences; some of her favorite courses were AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP US Government, AP English Language/Literature, and forensic science.
Her experience volunteering at her local hospital and interning at a primary care HIV/AIDS clinic motivated her to pursue a career in the health field. She is an active member of her school’s GlobeMed chapter, which is a global health-related club, and has enjoyed serving as an Orientation Leader during Barnard’s New Student Orientation Program. Aside from the sciences, Maria also plays trumpet and piano in her free time.

In high school he completed a wide range of AP coursework and exams, from Spanish Language to Physics. He volunteered teaching music at a local community center throughout high school, and spends time teaching himself guitar and playing golf, which he played competitively in high school.
He earned a 35 on his ACT, as well as 800's on the SAT II tests in Chemistry and Math 2. Nick continues to look for ways he can apply his interests in physics, economics, and business.

She became a college financial consultant in 2010 and has been dedicated to helping students and their families maximize their financial aid opportunities ever since.

At the core of what motivates Julie is getting to see students pursue the college of their dreams, regardless of their financial background. As the mother of triplets (all college aged!) she is hyper aware of the many unique struggles families experience when paying for college. These days she lives in New Jersey with her family and works as a Financial Counselor for WeAdmit.

Prior to founding Financial Aid Coach, Blaine worked in the financial aid industry as a counselor for students and families for several years at schools including Millersville University, where he completed a degree in education, and La Salle University, where he graduated with his MBA in Finance. In his capacity as a financial aid counselor, Blaine was able to learn the ins and outs of financial aid first-hand.
